This body of work is as much about the exploratory nature of the medium as it is the aesthetic characteristics of the finished product.  It echoes consistencies in nature where cloud formations, landforms, and storm systems are simultaneously reflective of galaxies and microorganisms.  Examine congruencies amongst geological and cosmic formations on all scales.  Weaved together into a single image, aim not to discern between these subjects, but instead seek to build relationships amongst them; as all that occurs in this world is interconnected to create the whole system. 

I never consider this creative process a means to an end and never restrict my work based on time constraints.  Allowing myself to become deeply and mindfully engaged with each layer of pigment becomes a practice that is meditative and encourages high levels of focused energy.
